I graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a B.A. in Art - Graphic Design, summa cum laude and with Art and Design Honors.
I was introduced to the world of UX in my second year when I attended a talk by Avalon Hu. Inspired by human-centered design practices and eager to learn more, I began studying UX on top of my coursework and reached out to Associate Professor Rob Ray for mentorship. In my senior year, I conducted research investigating the role of culture in UX research with Black, Asian, and Latinx women. In May 2023, I received the Outstanding Student in Design Research award from the Department of Art and Design.
In my previous role, I worked as a graphic designer for Associated Students, Inc., where I created marketing and promotional materials for events and services on campus. I currently volunteer as a Digital Coach for Community Tech Network.
